What's included

Most sprinkler problems fall into a handful of categories: a zone that won't turn on (usually a valve or wiring issue), heads that don't pop up or spray unevenly (clogged, broken, or sunk below grade), a soggy spot that won't drain (a broken lateral line), or a system that worked fine last fall and won't start this spring — almost always incomplete winterization.

That last one is the big one in the Salt Lake Valley. A proper fall blowout clears water from the lines, valves, and backflow preventer with compressed air before a hard freeze. If any water is left in a line or in the backflow device when the ground freezes, something cracks — and it's often not obvious until you turn the system back on in spring and get a soaked lawn or no pressure at all.

We diagnose by testing zones, checking static pressure, and locating the actual break — not just replacing parts until something works. We repair systems we didn't originally install just as often as our own.

How it works

Step by step, here's what actually happens on site:

My system worked fine last fall and now a zone won't turn on — what happened?

This is almost always incomplete winterization. Water left in a line, valve, or backflow preventer over winter freezes and cracks something, which usually doesn't show until you run the system again in spring.

Do you repair systems you didn't originally install?

Yes — most of our repair calls are on systems another company installed.

How fast can you get someone out for a broken sprinkler line flooding my yard?

Call and we'll get you scheduled as quickly as we can — for an active leak, shutting off the system's main valve in the meantime prevents further water loss.

Is backflow preventer repair required, or optional?

Utah plumbing code requires a functioning backflow preventer on irrigation systems — it's not optional, and we can repair or replace one that's failed or freeze-damaged.
